Awarded to the veteran with the best time on Standard in any 10 miles Time Trial.

Height 14.5”. Width 11.5”. A wooden shield with a silver scroll at the top inscribed ‘Rothman’s Shield’. In the centre a silver crested shield engraved ‘Ferryhill Wheelers C.C. Best on Standard, Veterans 10’. Inset badge depicts a racing cyclist on a silver background. Individual shields around the edge record the winners’ names and dates. A hinged stand is attached to the back of the shield.
